Sometimes I am my own worst enemy. Money can be, and often is, tight and as such I avoid needless spending. Finding fun things to do at low, or preferably, zero cost can be tricky but we manage. But, spending £12 for 5 of us to go on the dogems was money well spent – I’d forgotten how much fun the dodgems are. I do think £3 per car was bordering on the extortionate end of the fun fair price scale but I threw monetary caution to the wind and went for it as a spur of the moment treat on the way back to the car. So glad I did. The giggles, the laughter, and the smiles made the little extra expense well worth it.
