It’s now the time of year when running on the roads (especially country roads) gets you as filthy as trail running. Running in the dark with only a head torch to guide you is also the norm, and I love it. Don’t get me wrong, I do love running in spring and summer where only shorts and a t-shirt are necessary, but for me there’s something about getting out in the winter months when it’s dark and wet. Something far more satisfying about these runs.
