This morning I slept in. The warmth in the bed was just too hard to resist. I eventually prised myself loose from it’s blankety clutches to get in a run around town. These are the satisfying runs. Not because I’ve set a PB or gone a furthest distance but because I got out there and ran after an internal mental battle with myself. It was cold out there, frost was omnipresent and the chill was biting my exposed face but I didn’t care one bit. I got out there.
