When I volunteered to help on the organising committee for the @kms10k I never imagined I’d end up being the race secretary/director/marketing man. Little did I know how much I’d enjoy being on the “other side” of a race and how involved it would be. Last year we only got 385 entries, likely because the Tour de Yorkshire came through the town on race day but still a far from full event. Now we’re full, 7 days before the closing date and 11 days before the race.
