It’s often said that running a is a sport that requires very little in the way of kit. Whoever said that has never running in northern England in winter! I’m currently wearing leggings, 2-in-1 shorts, long sleeves base layer and a long sleeved running fleece. On top of that I have thick socks, a buff, a fleece beenie hat and gloves! Getting ready is taking longer and the laundry pile gets bigger. I do love running on these crisp and clear mornings though; the stars above me and a light frost under my feet.
