Food. It has the power to invoke memories of times gone by. For me, pie & peas takes me back to the WMC I went to with my parents when I we’re a lad. Half way through the night I’d get this as my supper. To me it’s a classic, hardy Yorkshire meal that is perfect on a chilly winter evening.
