My first through was “what an idiot”. Then I read it and realised he’d actually given this some consideration so my second through changed to “what an absolute idiot”. I simply don’t agree that he had to get into bed with the enemy to make a difference. I’m sure the millions he’s making from the deal will help his conscience recover though.
