Last Sunday, after frantically posting last weeks My Sunday Photo, we took a trip up to Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Even though I wrote a blog about the day that you can read here, and I shared this photo of the pier within that blog, I wanted to make a post especially about it.
I’ve always admired dramatic and emotive pier shots but never capture one myself. The conditions on the day we pretty good for photography and I made a few shots of the pier that I love. This one though, edited in Lightroom, I just love.

Ahh! I spend lots of Sundays at Saltburn-by-the-Sea when I was a child.
Fantastic photo. The sky looks so moody x
